Your show runs 24/7. So should the computer behind it.
ELM HUB is installation-grade control hardware, purpose-built for permanent installations: it drives a whole LED rig as one screen. Everything needed to run the largest shows ELM can drive is already inside it (processor, graphics, memory, storage and networking), specified to support every ELM feature at its maximum rated capacity, including up to 32,768 universes per output protocol. There is no computer specification to work out. It is built for sites that need an on-premises computer running the show 24/7 without an operator: media facades and architectural lighting, nightclubs, and immersive spaces.
It ships pre-loaded: ENTTEC LED MAPPER (ELM) 2026 is installed and configured. The edition you choose sets both the universe count (a universe is 512 channels of DMX data) and which features are unlocked. The unit is rated for continuous unattended operation from 0°C to 50°C and carries a 3-year return-to-base manufacturer warranty as standard. Pre-installed with ELM 2026
ELM HUB ships with ELM pre-installed, so an integrator commissions a site without having to build and validate a separate PC for it. Every unit is assembled, configured and tested to the same specification before dispatch: ELM 2026 is installed and configured. Each subsequent project starts from an identical, proven configuration.
Robust 3RU rack mount unit
A 3RU rack mount unit, 19-inch rack compatible with the mounting ears fitted, built to run one application and nothing else. A steel and aluminium chassis keeps the unit light without sacrificing robustness at 8.35 kg, and dual ventilation paths maintain thermal headroom at ambient temperatures up to 50°C. The unit is rated for continuous, unattended operation in plant rooms, comms cupboards and touring racks, and ELM includes a built-in scheduler for 24/7 playback.
Dual 10 Gigabit network adaptors
Two independently addressable 10 Gigabit adaptors on locking Ethercon connectors, at 10 Gb/s per port. Scale changes the problem: 32,768 universes per protocol is well over 8 Gb/s of output, continuously. Send that down a single port and the network behind it has to be built to absorb and redistribute the entire load, which means a larger switch, a more careful topology and more to go wrong on a site with no operator. ELM splits the output across both adaptors instead, so each carries half onto its own leg of the network, and node numbering follows automatically as the rig grows.
Built-in front monitor
A built-in front monitor gives on-site staff an at-a-glance view of ELM and network status without connecting a laptop or opening a rack door. Two front-panel USB 3.0 ports accept a keyboard and mouse for configuration, and three Mini DisplayPort outputs on the rear connect up to three external displays where a full working screen is required.
International compliance
This ENTTEC product conforms to the following international compliance and safety standards.
FCC (USA), RCM (Aus/NZ), CE / RoHS / WEEE (EU), UKCA (UK)
Built for one job: running ELM at full scale.
ELM is ENTTEC’s LED pixel mapping software. It takes video, stills, camera feeds and generative effects and renders them across every fixture as if the whole rig were one screen, then sends the result out over the network as Art-Net, sACN or KiNET, up to 32,768 universes per output protocol. ELM HUB’s processor, graphics, memory, storage and networking are specified to support that ceiling, so the hardware is never what caps a project.
Two ELM features matter most on an unattended machine, and both come with the Architectural edition: Sentry monitors RDM fixtures live and raises alerts before a failing fixture becomes a callout, and Device Manager commissions gateways in bulk.
- 32,768universes per output protocol, the ELM maximum this unit is specified to deliver
- 130+built-in GPU shader effects, before any media is added
- 1TBinternal SSD for media libraries, show files and content
