I have created a new fixture file - how do I install it into DMXIS?

Once you have created your new fixture file (manually with a text editor, or online at fixtures.dmxis.com) you need to copy the new fixture file manually into the DMXIS fixtures folder:

  • OS X : /Library/Application Support/ENTTEC/DMXIS/DmxLibrary/
  • Windows: C:/Program Files/ENTTEC/DMXIS/DmxLibrary/

For Windows 64 bit systems, look instead under "Program Files (x86)"

For OS X systems, note that you should look in the global "Library" folder under "Macintosh HD" - NOT the local "Library" folder under your user's home location.
