Editor's Note
I know, we're a little late for the March issue, and technically we missed out on calling it the April one too.
And I started writing this paragraph at the beginning of May but now look how far into it we are.
This makes it the SPRING EDITION, officially. It's extra jam-packed with articles, however. We hope that makes up for the missing months.
What has been so important that we couldn't send out news on the normal schedule? I'm glad you asked.
First, there are new products to talk about, two articles' worth in fact.
We'll preview Datagate Mk2 in the first and then round up
a bunch of other new stuff , including LightFactory 2.3, in the other.
March was our time to visit the factory Down Under. Karen and I had an amazing time, and we earned some serious frequent flyer points doing it.
We stopped in New Zealand on the way there, too. Our exploits make an article in itself, so I'll just refer you to that to read more.
Travelogue Down Under
At the end of our time at the Enttec factory in Melbourne, we got to spend 3 days in Sydney.
As we strolled around the nightclub district, we saw bands lit with LED-based lighting gear, through windows and around corners from where we sat.
Big cities in Australia, such as Sydney, seem to have adopted LED's much more quickly than large cities in the US, although the US is catching up.
That brings me to the story of The Album Leaf's recent tour, and Terminal Design Group's creative approach, using Enttec products to control the LED sources

No sooner did we get back from our trip abroad, we flew to Kansas City for USITT. That's the lead-in to another article, about trade shows past and future.
While some of you may have followed us there on Facebook, for the rest we'll wrap that show up with
Report from USITT.
It may all sound like a madcap adventure to some, but to other people "March" and "Madness" go hand in hand.
In salute to the winner of the NCAA College Basketball championship, we have an article about that very school.
I've been saving it up since December, actually, but this is a great time to tell you about our contributions to the new lighting system at the Duke Chapel.
