September 2009

I'm traveling again. Here's an observation or two I picked up along the way. Denver is a gorgeous city, with a civic logo that evokes the natural beauty of the sun setting over the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. You see that logo on street signs, and everywhere else imaginable, but it doesn't prepare you for the stunning actuality of the event that the graphic can only hint about. I managed to take my camera out and capture a few moments where that afternoon sunlight caught some tree leaves and a granite column in a public park. It reminded me of the elusive qualities of light that as a designer I strive to recapture. Simple, bold, and striking, this was a vision of inspirational composition, put there by architect, civic planner, and perhaps Creator if that explanation appeals to you as well.

Introducing DIN-TEC

Case Study: DENVER CIVIC CENTER

If I'd stuck around another hour or so, the City and County of Denver's main governmental building would have been lit up by LED lighting, and the control for that involves some Enttec gear. Read about it here at this story. I did get to see the work, but from a great distance away as my plans did not allow close inspection of the site after dark.

Congratulations DMXIS!

Upcoming Events

Speaking of plans, would you like to hear where Enttec will be showing off our new products in the next few months? Read about it here: .

One of the places we'll be is LDI, of course, and at a dinner there you'll see a good deal of attention paid to DMXIS. The announcement which prompts that prediction can be read here. But DMXIS isn't the only reason to stop by and visit us, we have also got some very new stuff to show off, and the very first official public announcement of the DINTEC line is in this newsletter. Read more about DINTEC here.

See you in October...
