Editors Note: "Trick or Treat?"
|

|
That's a great idea, because a lot of different haunted houses and scary attractions use Enttec products. You can start by writing your editor's welcome like you're a schizophrenic talking to your self. So I did. Only I didn't, because we really aren't going to go there this year. Maybe next time. Why not? There are too many new things to talk about which have nothing to do with that. I'm all for stretching a theme here and there, but that's too far, even if you like taffy. I always found a way to trade that to other kids who'd give me chocolate instead.
Yes, I know, I was there. Getting back to business... instead of the macabre, we'll talk about some new products that can now be seen on our website, or that are coming soon, like the D-Split . Spiders have webs too. I thought you left. No. I'm carving pumpkins over here. In place of Jack'O'Lanterns I'm showing the readers DC Jack accessories. But I'll be back That reminds me, Enttec's selling Terminators now too. Naked time travelers sell tickets. You know that's not what I meant. There are LED strips too. Actually that's the biggest departure for us. Read all about it here Last month we talked about our new Din-Tec line. Now there will be a quiz. Just kidding! Did I scare you? I hope so.
What we will have is a sort of sequel to that article. DIN-TEC 2, The Wrath of the Competition? No, not quite. Well, it's not our fault if they can't keep up, but what else is there to say about it? This is too soon to tell the readers that the next modules we've designed for that system are ready to ship, but ... How about a sneak preview? Yes, that's what we'll do. Just for the sake of fleshing out the conceptual idea behind it all, not to tantalize them or anything. And I've done some CAD designs of hypothetical applications for the Din-Tec gear which we'll also share in this article.
Is CAD short for CADAVER? You have to stop doing that. We're running out of space to tell people what's important. Speaking of news... Don't tell them, show them Right, we have a whole lot of new videos that pertain to DINTEC and DMXIS that we've posted recently. This article will tell you about what they each are for. Another great thing about those videos is that they were made by other members of our team and even some users, so you'll get to see or hear from some different voices for a change.. So you're saying I had nothing to do with them except editing the article.
This is true. But we do have one more video/case study this month that is a return to the by now familiar way these often come to your attention. They jump out from behind a gravestone and yell boo! No, I meant that when I design the project, I get to spec Enttec gear. And then when it's over I write it up and then present it here unashamedly. Well, actually it bothers me a bit to come off as self-promoting, so if one of the readers should have an exciting project worth reading about, I hope they will let us know. I'm willing to share the spotlight. Meanwhile, however, let me take you to one of my favorite New York City indy music clubs, the Mercury Lounge , where Folk Rock/Alternative singer songwriter Andrew Vladeck played in Mid October, illuminated by lighting controlled by DMXIS.
And I used an Enttec Playback Wing for that gig, it's true, but nightclubs are the natural haunts of a program called FreeStyler, and the next article is about the release of a new version of that software. Tell them about the Wings swooping down to engulf unsuspecting dancers. That's not what the story is about. It's about how Freestyler now supports Enttec Wings! If you're a vampire, or you just enjoy lighting up nightlife, click here Finally, if you're keeping score of where and when Enttec can be spotted at trade shows, I'm repeating and expanding upon the news of WFX and LDI with this little morsel.
