NEW PRODUCTS
In this month's product roundup, we're going to take another look at two of the things we featured last month, but in a different way.
Rack Mount Plate for Wings
Last month, we showed off the new Programming Wing ,but this plate isn't just meant for that device. It's great for our Playback and
Shortcut Wings also.
Measuring in at 6U high and a standard 19" rack width, it will let you put your wings into touring racks very conveniently.
Whether you want a diagonal rail like sound mixers often use, or vertical ones, is up to you and your application.
We also provide two mounting holes for either Ethercon connectors if you wish to have access to the plug at the front, or for a LittleLite to be attached.

RDM SMART PATCH
The RDM Controller
application now has a really cool new feature we call the Smart Patch Wizard. Let's say you're installing a wall of LED's and you want to address them
intelligently. Luckily, they're RDM-enabled, so you plug your Controller dongle and your DMX USB Pro into your computer, and connect the lights to it.
Start up the Controller app and go into this wizard. It will let you type an address number whenever you find the unit you want to designate, then hit the space bar a few times,
find another, then type its number, etc. This new module of the program was designed to make entering a large number of addresses by keypad really quick.
The only way we could make it simpler is to show you how to do this with a video, and that's coming soon. Meanwhile, look for us at LDI to have
a demonstration of this great feature. We'll be... no wait, I won't give it away here. Go to this article to read about where to find us.
LightFactory Dongle, Part II
This is not huge news, it's just a minor update, but last time we talked about how it would be preferable to equip this
license key as a new purchase,
rather than as an upgrade or transfer. Well, you can ignore that caution, now. We've solved the problem and it's quite elegant. In brief, it goes like this: The customer receives from us a serial number for a machine here at Enttec, to which they transfer their license. They email that information to us, and we can then load it on the dongle and ship it to them, typically on the same business day if we're not too busy. It is a good idea to check first before de-commissioning your existing license to transfer it to us, that we're actually in the office and ready to make the new one go out that day. We will make all reasonable efforts to be quick about it but sometimes we are out training people, meeting with dealers, at trade shows, etc. Our Melbourne office and the US Sales Office can both do this, so, between us, one should be able to turn it around quickly.
