Many things in 2008 were not, shall we say, optimal. I won't recite a litany of things that went poorly, you probably have it memorized already. Instead I'll concentrate on some of the good things we had happen to us, or caused to happen. It's not like this makes up for a world upside down, I'm not that much of a pollyana, but everyone needs something to help them get out of bed in the morning, and this is it for us.
Here are some highlights of the year we're bringing to a close soon, from Enttec's point of view.
Highlights 2008
- built out our new space and moved in.
- started shipping ODE
- acquired new machinery for electronics production line
- began shipping Program Wing
- created and placed on sale PLUGINS for the ODE
- exhibited at Tradeshows: SETC, USITT, Broadway Lighting Master Class 4Wall Vendor Day, LDI, Entech
- partnered with many software developers on key projects: Madrix, Luminair, ESP Vision, and others.
- relocated US Sales Office to Durham, NC
- instituted the Enttec Newsletter
- helped to light the Pope for World Youth Day
- saw our products used on two Broadway shows at the same time
- added over 20 new dealers to our US network and several others worldwide.
