| SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM OUR R&D DESK
We have started work on the Datagate MK2. When we designed the first Datagate 5 years ago, we never anticipated the huge takeup of DMX based LED systems, but the product is being used in that type of installation now more and more. The frontier of research and development certainly needs to take that application into account now, but there may be other things which are tomorrow's critical application for a product such as this.
For the MK2 we are calling for feedback from our partners and customers on what they would like to see in such a device. This could involve hardware, software, anything you think would make the product better.
Think of it as a wish list for a device that would not only convert Ethernet to DMX but also manage your network and change the data flowing on that network.
Please email me your ideas.
Thanks
Nicolas Moreau

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Enttec's Global Dealer Newsletter! This email campaign will be an effort on our part to keep you in the loop on all the things that are happening at Enttec.
One thing you may not have noticed if you didn't try to stop by and pay us a visit recently is that in 2008 we moved our headquarters to a new location in the Melbourne suburb of Knoxfield. This includes improved facilities for our manufacturing and R&D operations, and tremendous storage and logistical support as well. We're also working on expanding our manufacturing line to increase throughput and reliability and in future issues will tell you more about that aspect of the changes. This first issue is going to introduce some features we hope you'll see more of in the future, such as details about new products we've just recently added to our lineup (see this link) or examples of how our products are being used in the real world. This could take the form of a profile piece on an end user who is doing things we think you'll find interesting, or a portfolio piece that summarizes a particular lighting project that features Enttec gear. For this issue you'll get one of the first, and two of the second.
We hope you enjoy. Please read on.
